A unique Suffolk Inn with an amazing history, built in 1460 and grade 2 listed by English Heritage. Situated in the centre of the village beside the river Box, near to Britain’s oldest shop (from 1420) and the world’s oldest automotive garage (from 1900).

Open from 8am every day, our lounge and public bars are both spacious and comfortable. Come in and try our fine wines, real ales, or a cup of barrista-style coffee with some delicious home-made cake.
